Permit me to repost this prophetic post because it concerns basic christianity as well, if any are interested

Did the bloodlines of David stop with Jesus ?

No, matter of fact, Jesus was not in the bloodlines of King David on through Joseph as described in Mathew 1….Why because God was His father and NOT Joseph. The virgin Mary was impregnated by the Lord and Jesus was born, but he was Not the Son of David as people called Him but the Son of God as Peter realized by faith. JESUS was from the beginning for as he said,' before Abraham was, I am'. Jesus was the Creator and not a creation or a mere man, like King David of old. This is why Jesus asked them

What think ye of Christ? whose son is he? They say unto him, The Son of David. He saith unto them, How then doth David in spirit call him Lord, saying The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool? If David then call him Lord, how is he his son?
And no man was able to answer him a word, neither durst any [man] from that day forth ask him any more questions (Mathew 22).

So you see King David of old was a son of Jesus and Jesus was not a son of David.

But wait a minute, the Lord promised King David of old that his seed or one of his descendants would always rule the Lord's people. (Psalm 89 See below). This is the King David as prophesied about by Moses in

Deu 18:15 The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the
midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken;

This is the king as prophesied about in Ezekiel 34, 37, Jeremiah 23, Hosea 2 and other scriptures, but they are not talking about the messiah who is the King of kings and won't be here during the tribulation but who will come After the Tribuation of those days. (Mathew 24 :15-31).

So did the lineage of David stop with Jesus. I don't think so as Joeseph hadn't even got into the lineage yet because he didn't make love to Mary and had no children from Mary before Jesus came. But He did have children after Jesus was born because scriptures say, that he had brothers and sisters.

Hence I don't believe that Jesus's lineage went on with his children from Mary Magdalene as the evil ones believe but believe that the lineage of David through Joseph went on through one of the sons of Joseph. For doesn't the New Testament also talk about James, the literal brother of Jesus. So why couldn't he have passed on the seed of David that eventually produces our End-Time King David……WHY because the Lord's word cannot be broken and the Lord promised David of old that one of his descendants would rule the spiritual House of Israel in the End-Time.

So I'm not making it a doctrine, but the scriptures have to be fulfilled literally according to the Lord's promises somehow and we do know that there will be an End-Time King david. But the encouraging point is that we don't have to check people's lineages because there is absolutely no way anyone can trace back their parentage to Jesus's time. Only God knows, and only the Lord will choose the lineage and descendant of David who shall succeed his father in the flesh.

This is our true blood lineage of our leader in the End-Time and none of us
will be able to know this until the Lord gives us our needed two witnesses, one of which is our End-Time King, and this doesn't happen until the Tribulation starts.

In my opinion according to scriptures and bloodlines
