I would say that it is a very appropriate time to read Daniel 11.

The entire book of Daniel is no silly, occult, fortune-telling smorgasbord of new age predictions. Daniel's own testimony confirms his skill and annointing in these matters of revealing the secrets of the future.

It is a highly accurate, supernatural revelation, given by GOD through Daniel and others.

We should all be very thankful for this book.

It is no co-incidence that Ch 11 is so special to this period of history we are living now.

Consider another prophet who God annointed to predict and warn of the fall of Babylon.

Check out Jer 11:11

Anyway, getting back to the Book of Daniel, chapter 11.

One thing that sticks out is that there is this constant battle between king of north and king of south.

Regardless of interpretations, what perods of history, who these powers are historically, etc., one thing struck me as forboding about what is going on right now.

According to Daniel 11, the tables turn on the king of the south, as the south raises up an army to get some kind of retribution on the North.

But it fails and the NORTH has a tremendous, military victory over the South. Dan 11:11-16
